Introduction to Applying GC-MS in Untargeted Metabolomics

Sep 22, 2026 - Sep 24, 2026

This practical based course introduces attendees to apply GC-MS in untargeted metabolomics. The course provides an introduction to metabolomics, experimental design and application of GC-MS in untargeted metabolomics, sample preparation, hands-on data acquisition using the LECO Pegasus BT 4D GC x GC-ToF MS, data processing and analysis. The course is delivered using a combination of lectures, laboratory sessions and computer workshops to develop your knowledge, skills and confidence to apply GC-MS in your own research. The course is aimed at individuals with minimal knowledge of GC-MS based metabolomics and only a small number of attendees are accepted on each course to maximise opportunities for laboratory experience and interaction with instructors.
