SUMMARY:ISN Forefronts Symposium
DESCRIPTION:In this symposium the focus will be on the interaction of the Metabolome and Microbiome and its connection to different disease states and how these approaches could be applied to kidney diseases.\nMetabolomics\, the comprehensive study of small molecules\, provides remarkable insights into the underlying biochemistry of disease pathways for basic science and clinical applications. \nSan Diego has been a bed of much of this fundamental knowledge and houses several institutions\, which have led the way to many breakthroughs in our understanding of metabolites.
