I come from Shenzhen, China. I completed my Bachelor and Master’s degree in HeFei University of Technology. My diploma thesis is to develop an on site detection strategy, namely lateral flow strips, for trace detection of illegal additives. After graduation, I joint BGI, short for Beijing Genomics Institute . I have one year experience in transcriptome and two years experience in metabolome and proteome in BGI. Currently, I am mainly in charge of the metabolomics analysis methods development.
My research interest includes data visualization, statistical analysis and multi-omics integration. On January 2017, I was enrolled as a PhD student in University of Copenhagen, supported by the joint education program with BGI for University of Copenhagen. My current PhD project is to develop an Expert analysis system for metabolomics data. As we know, each analysis method could only be applied to certain datasets, and different parameters have to be set according to the statistical rules and the feature of datasets. Numerous analysis methods and parameters often make us confused. I try to develop an Expert Metabolomics Analytical System to help solve this problem. This system could help us to choose proper methods and set parameters in data processing, normalization and statistical analysis, based on data feature and statistical rules.
